Data Tools: Field
This toolbar is context sensitive, and becomes active after selecting a Snap field in the document.
The commands available in the Field toolbar of the Data Tools category are divided into the following sections.
Data Shaping

| Group By Field |

| Groups a Snap list by the selected field. All groupings added to a Snap report are displayed as nodes in the Report Explorer. Using this command, you can apply multiple grouping criteria. Every group can have a header and/or footer. To customize report groups, use the tools provided by the Data Tools: Group toolbar. |
| Sort Ascending |
|
| Sorts a Snap list by the selected column in ascending order. To manage the sort levels in a mail merge document, use the Sort command of the Data Tools: Mail Merge toolbar. |
| Sort Descending |
|
| Sorts a Snap list by the selected column in descending order. To manage the sort levels in a mail merge document, use the Sort command of the Data Tools: Mail Merge toolbar. |
| Summary |

| Calculates a summary for a selected field. Summary results are shown in the list footer. The following summary functions are available: Count; Sum; Average; Max; Min. |
| Quick Filter |
|
| Allows you to select which values of a selected field to show.This command is not applicable to nested lists of a master-detail report. To apply complex filtering criteria to a Snap list, use the Filter command of the Data Tools: List or Data Tools: Mail Merge toolbar. |
